Stocking Advice For Friend?

hello my friend has 200 gallons to work with and for the past 4 years or so all that has been in it is a 20" common plec.

working with that, i would like to ask you guys to help me come up with stocking as he has been advised to not put anyhting else in there?

filteroverall is fine for the plec,but tankwise underfiltered, about rated for 140-110 gallons overall

send your friend down the shops...when he goes grab the tank and run...shouldnt be allowed to keep it and not use it...channa heaven,,hehe...so many options...

couldnt he get a channa? afterall its just an enorumous pleco.

and asmuch as would LOVE a tank of that size, where the heck would i put it? i guess i could hide it in storage until i move and then put it in the basement, and then get a channa with my soon to be chocoalte chiclid lol

yer easy i have a 5in gibby with my sp assams they get along find dont realy tend to bothere each othere what so ever.

i think gibby is a type of plec right?

and wat is sp assams? can you post the full scientific name plz?

i dont think most small channa will go with chocoalte chiclid. most small channa r sub tropical. but nelly nos a hell of alot more than me!

well, it doesnt matter about me lol,its about my friend, the chocolate chiclid and channa was just a dream,the biggest tank ill ever get living with my parents is going to be 75 gallons *sigh*

I have my chocolate cichlid with my channa pleurophthalma..also parachanna obscura are great....there are a fair few tropical one's out there....

yes alot of channa are sub tropical :good:
