Stocking A 10G

Flame tetras can be a bit nippy(from my experience) but they are nice looking fish. 2 males and 4 females is a good ratio. Just remember that Flame tetras get to be 4cm whereas Ember tetras only get to be 2cm and are much more suitable for your tank, plus you could have more of them because of their small size. It is up to you of coarse.
 
Thanks :D. Thanks for the warning about their "nipiness". I was going to get Ember Tetras but sadly my LPS doesn't sell them and buying them online is just too expensive. Thanks for your help :D. I still think that I'm going to get 5 or 6 flame tetras. Probably 5 because I don't want to overcrowd the tank. Thanks for your help :D.
 
One more thing. Do you think I should get 5 Flame Tetras or 6? I'm not 100% sure, but I think I'm going to go with 5. I was just wondering what you guys think :D.
 
It's up to you. If you want 5, get 2 males/3 females. If you want 6, get 2 males/4 females.
