Stockin 60Litre Tetra Aqua Art

Hi,

Im thinking of getting this tetra tank and would this be overstockin,

3 honey red gouramis
3 kuhli loaches
8 cherry fire shrimp
8 neon tetras

Im having pool filter sand as a substrate and redmoor root wood

u mite just get away with it and you mite want to add a air pump to help add oxygen to the water XD

Neon tetras should be removed from that stocking. They need a large tank despite their small size as they need to have plenty of space to swim. They are just not an option in a 60 litre tank. The loaches would need a larger group also. Be prepared not to see the loaches as they are very shy and tend only to come out during feed time.

I'd stick with just the 3 Honey Gourami and 12 Kuhli Loaches (which if you provide them with a myriad of hiding places should show their faces in these sort of number).

A 60l tank is not very big at all, it takes very little to create big swings in water chemistry and quality.
