Sorry to hear that squirelbuddies, he was a fighter though, lasted a long time. On the bright side, this does answer your problem with the female Krib, you can now get her a new bloke, which should calm her down.

Just wanted to say thanks for all of the help and kind words. This certainly was a learning experience and I'll be better equipped (from a knowledge perspective) should it happen again.

And yes, the one remaining krib does indeed need a mate...but she's actually a "he", so I guess I need to get a female!
