Dosed tank to 4ppm 8.00am
12hrs Tested water at 8.00pm ammonia 0, Nitrite 2.
24 hrs Tested water 5/03/2011 8.00am ammonia 0, nitrite 0
 
Nitrites processing in 24 hrs or less, fingers crossed not to long now for double 0 at 12 hrs.

I noticed all this ornaments are going brown, is this normal.

Yes this is quite normal when cycling a new tank/filter. When you perform your big water change near the end of the cycle you can just wipe it all away with some filter sponge.

12 hrs test double 0's
How many days at double 0 do I need before I do the large water change and start stocking the tank.
 
A week is recommended, and from then until it's convenient to get fish.
