Stars And No Stripes Puffer

I have a Arothron hispidus Puffer, I got him when he was a inch long and now he is about 6 inches. But he has NEVER had any stripes on his belly just the white spots on a light grey or olive base colour (depending on mood) he does have the typical yellow swirl around his gill plate/pectoral fins.

I have seen 2 others posted on the internet, does any one know why they don't have stripes?

Is it a color morph or due to the location they were caught even a sex indicator?

Just sounds like some kind of morph to me, and because you have only ever seen 2 on the web that look like it, it might be worth quite a bit too

Because you have had him for a long time and there have been no problems, I dont think it is anything to worry about.

possibly a defect from interbreeding or geological mutation depending on where it was pulled from?
