Squirtle Update

Got this little guy a few months back as a 1" hatchling, he is now 3" shell length and alot fatter.

Thanks, might have too sell my poly's within the next few months though to make room for a bigger tank for him.

Snappers are so awesome,yours looks like a little beast tank.I've seen some really huge ones out in the wild.How big will this one get?

This ones just a common snapper so he should get too around 12-16" shell length plus a huge tail. Gator snappers get bigger but are far less active and very reclusive.

Cool.I believe we have commons around here,I'm up in Maine.I've seen them as big and maybe a bit bigger than that one in the pic,There is a few ponds right down the road that house alot of snappers,I see them useing the brooks that run between them alot during the late spring/early summer,must be mateing and laying nests.
