Spreading some Christmas Cheer

If anybody is in need of some holiday cheer tonight, the Central Wyoming College music groups (including your friendly neighborhood Badger) will be sharing a performance tonight. There will be a live feed on youtube (link below) starting 7 p.m. Mountain Time. We had our dress rehearsal last night and I think it's going to be very fun. Ignore the goofy looking guy with the silver euphonium.

Here's some holiday cheer:

I'm a first grade teacher. I used to give each of my students a gift before winter break. However, the school I work at now is a much higher socioeconomic level than my old school, which was in a poor area of town.

So, for the past five years, I give each of my students $5 to contribute to the charity of their choice. That way, they can experience helping others and giving, rather than receiving.

The holiday cheer part is one of my students brought in $45 of his own money to also donate.
