splitiing up a tank

hello i could do with a little advice @ the mo i have a rio 400(88uk gal/106us gal )tank

occupants are
7 clown loach
1 ceacillian worm
1 common pl*c
1 queen arabesque pl*c
2 gloden angels
1 stiped talking cat
1 tryetrack eel
1 flowerhorn cichlid
1 convict cichlid
1 jewel cichlid
4 tinfiol barbs

now i bought a trigon 350(77ukgal/93us gal) corner tank as im spliting the above fish up what would be the best combinations to have in the tanks (i am currently cycling the tank but as the tank is used and the filter medium is colonised how long before i can add the fish i saved about 3/4 of the old tank water and used this )

If it is a completely new tank I would buy a kit that would be able to show you the parameters so then you know when it is fully cycled. Once you think its cycled, I would wait another couple of days to make sure nothing slips.

Also tank water doesnt really add anything good into you aquarium, what you should use is gravel or decorations from the other tank so that the bacteria can grow.

thanks the tank was set up (established) in the home of the persom i bought it off i have the full range of test kits the question i am most concerened about is

how should i spilt the fish up (what fish will be best in the long run to go in the tank with my clown loaches in and which ones will be best to go in the tank with my eel and the ceacillian ) fish list again

so considering attainable size what fish shall i put with each other in which tanks

eg tank 1 trigon 350 (77uk gal 93us gal)

7 clown loach, 1 queen arabesque ,1 convict cichlid ,2 angel cichlids,1 jewel cichlid

tank 2 rio 400(88uk gal 106 us gal)

1 tryetrack eel,1 ceacillian worm,1common plec,4 tinfoil barbs

does my plan sound okay or is there any pitfalls that i have not seen (i know that the tinfoils will grow to 14" each so they may have to go in with my oscars one day)
