can this be used in aquariums? does it grow well with netting etc

not in the form i use it in to soften my water. i'll be interested to see if it has another growing form though

I tried it once, it survived a few months under water and even grew a little but eventually it stopped growing began to look sad and died. It was trying to grow straight up to get to the air again.
