specific gravity

hi all,

can anybody please tell me how many grammes/ounzes of salt to gallon/litre of water to get a specific gravity that will enable me to hatch some bbs please. i usually go to the beach but cant get there at the moment.

Um... I think its about 8tbsp per gallon, but I'm not too sure.

I personally use 1 tablespoon of Cooking Salt to 1ltr of water added to this a few grains of baking soda to lift the pH to around 8.0.
