Spawning Time!

tank is ready to spawn drawf neon rainbows, but ive read that i need to have some airation in the water, due to oxygen level and to keep eggs from getting fungus but got BIG problem, b/c the tank is bare bottomed i cant get the airation to work with out it kicking out massive vibrations thru the tank, cant spawn in those conditions, would having the filter outlet higher in the water to create ripples do the desired effect, or am i just shooting in the dark? gunna be using a spawning mop BTW.

Instead of airation on the eggs to prevent fungus, use methylene blue or acroflavin. Remove filter carbon and add enough to color the water. As it seems to dim in color, add more. Thats what I do when breeding angelfish. Hopefully the breeding mat will not absorb the meds though.

great thanx for that this is my first time spwaning them, so willing to make mistakes but hope not. would you suggest the mop (100% cotton, no oils, etc...) or java moss?
