Hey there,
 
Customary it seems to introduce oneself here, so hello.
I'm a developer dude from Cape Town, South Africa, and new to aquariums.
Fortunately, I have a girlfriend who knows the stuff, and has her own aquaterrarium and a whole community locally that seems to have been around the block a bit.
 
I have an 85l Boyu tank, with a canopy and a Boyu cannister filter, currently cycling.
 
Hopefully, I can contribute something nice to the forums.
