Hi everyone. Some of you may know from Bettafish.com if you ever lurk there, or from the TFF chat, but if not hello! I'm Panthera
For the past month I've been working towards doing a sorority tank and having it ready by Christmas. I got my dad to give me my presents early lol, so I was able to buy pretty much everything. I have 7 female Bettas at the moment, although 1 (Lumen) is getting over SBD and may have a spinal deformity so I might not add her. Here are pics of the girls, and then of the tank. Please tell me what you think
Lyra: She's the first girl I got, a Marble VT. She changes colors CONSTANTLY. From pink, gold, to purple and blue. Love her.
Pyxis: Here's the little girl that my dad got for me as a present. She was dark brown and heavily black striped, but now is an iridescent lavender.
Sadira: A Red Cambodian VT, so funny. My dad also got this one.
Gemini: AKA Miss. Attitude. She flares more than my males do, and when her cup accidentally spilled over into her sisters Umbriel. She gave her a tail slap right in the face D: I gotta keep my eye on her.
Umbriel: Gemini's sister, or so I was told. She has just the same attitude as Gemini, but also can be quite interactive with me. I love her flecks of iridescence.
Hydra: The big behemoth I got at Petsmart. Just ignore the poo lol She's really quite docile, although I don't know how she'll be in the Sorority.
Lumen: Last but not least, here's my newest little girl Lumen. She could barely swim when I got her, but I gave her a pea and some does of epsom salt, and she seems back to normal. I dont really know if I should put her in with the others. I've had her almost a week, but she might still have SBD and may have a spinal deformity. Advice?
Okay so that's all the girls, ya like em'? Now here's the tank. Its a 10 Gallon that isn't currently cycled, but the ever so nice Nosoup4you is sending me some filter media that will hopefully cycle it. I'll do daily water changes, I heard %50-75 is good. Well here's the tank, please tell me what you think!
