I have always LOVED this tank since fatbob first posted it.
LOVE it.

Thats a nice tank bettamomma. Metfan I would change the gravel, kinda looks cheap and fake. Go for sand which is cheaper and looks more natural.

Well, the tank that I posted the picture of isn't mine - it is one that someone named fatbob posted on here. I think it belongs to him. You can search for his name and see if you can contact him.

It looks to me like there's sand with river rocks and real plants in it.
GORGEOUS.

If that were my tank, I'd fill it up with several pretty female bettas.

But I'm obviously a big fan of bettas.

and I think I'm an idiot - can someone please explain to me what a 20H is?

Remember to stack whatever floor you use. Make it a wedge so the front is thin and the back is deep. That way you can anchor plants (fake or real) and not block up the view of the tank. When you look at a tank the angle is not totally flat on (unless the tank is high up) you need a wedge of gravel/sand.
Gravel is nice, I very nearly went for purpl and green! I decided to pick up some sand though. You can get some pretty nice black sand, maybe you'd be interested by that. Wash it first .

You can put more than 1 betta in a 20H?

Just noticed, you've not got any rocks in that tank at all! Perhaps remove a decoration and make a cave from slate. It'll be rewarding when your Loach or Cat makes it his home sweet home!

not 2 male bettas. I would seriously make that tank a little more ggressive. African Butterfly fish are top dwellers. Add a small Pleco and a few other choice fish and u got yurself an awesome tank

like what?

You know - I said that bettas (FEMALE bettas) would be good in that tank, but now that I know what teh H means, maybe not. They had to swim to the top for air, and that could get to be all they do all day long is take off for the top, and then get air, then go back down, then have to turn right around again for the top.

hmm....
