Just looking for some ideas for something on the bottom, not quite sure what to get. I wouldn't be getting them for at least a week as I've got new inhabitants. Tank size is 91g (US). 120(l) x 40.5 (w) x 70.5(h).

Current inhabitants:

2 x Angel fish (Pterophyllum Scalare)
5 x Golden Panchax (Aplocheilus Lineatus)
1 x Bolivian Ram (Microgeophagus Altispinosa)
1 x Rainbow Shark (Epalzeorhynchos Frenatum)
3 x Clown Loach (Botia Macracanthus)
2 x Madagascan Rainbows (Bedotia Geayi)
1 x BGK (Apteronotus Albifrons)

I'm aware that the clown loaches need to be in a larger group, but these came with the tank when I got them. Rehoming isn't an issue at the moment as they are not a massive size., but something I will look into in the future.

I'm pretty much open to any suggestions as long as they are compatible.

Cheers guys.

I like the zebra loach very much. Interesting looking!!! Also eats snails, which is always a bonus, and if I decided to rehome the clowns, could replace them as snail eaters as the clowns do an amazing job at the moment.

The cory's also sound and look interesting aswell, especially the 3 lined corydora. The only thing that would worry me is that it says sharp gravel is not is not good for them, I've got gravel but wouldn't say it was especially sharp, but it's gravel all the same, and wouldn't want to get them, only for them to be harming themselves in the long run. What would you class as sharp gravel????

seeing as you have angel fish then you're tank is going to be warmer than most corys can tolerate
for warmer temps sterbai corys are your best bet as these tolerate the warm waters better than most other corys

as for gravel they are ok on gravel but the gravel must be kept really clean with weekly gravel vacs as this can be the main cause of bacterial infection in corys and clown loaches
as long as your clowns still have barbels then the sterbais will be fine in there

my pic - young sterbai at the front - adult (trilineatus) 3 lined in the rear

Thanks for that. The barbels are fine on my clowns, so that's always a big plus!!!!! What are the Sterbai Cory's like to get hold of, rare, common. I really like the look of them. I'll do a little more research on them.

So far I'm looking at Zebra Loach's and Sterbai Cory's. I'm going to do a bit more research on these 2, but if anyone else with other ideas has any, fire away lol.

if you have a maidenhead aquatics near you they normally carry sterbais in stock :)

Went there today funnily enough in St Albans, but didn't really look at the cory's. Bought a few other fish instead, but afterwards, have decided I need something for the bottom. Oh well, an excuse to make another visit maybe next week :hyper:
