I have a 55 gallon, 2 20's, and 1 100 gallon tank.

I'm putting the oscar, pacu, 2 pink kissing gourami, a long whiskered catfish, and a pleco in the 100 gallon, it has nothing in it now, i've been getting it ready.

I am considering a rope snake for the tank, but what about something like a black Arowana?

I'm putting the gourami in because one is being beaten up pretty bad...

Any ideas?

The tank has a custom glass lid that is cut specifically for the tanks setup, so keeping him from getting out of the tank should not be a problem.

hell no to an arrowana that tanks wayyyyyyyyyyy to small and besides even if it wasnt it just wouldnt be compatible

thats what i figured when I read about them, but they sell them at the store, the store says they don't get very large, black arowanas, they are more peaceful I read.

I ordered the rope fish, and i'm not going to have any kissing gourami in the tank.

Right now all I have are feeder goldfish to get something started, and the pacu which is not bothering any of the goldfish.

yes I know, i didn't buy the fish though, i'll have to get a larger tank in the future for him, maybe an indoor pond

all i have in the tank right now is a *dieing* pink kissing gourami, a pacu, and feeder fish.

I'll post pics of the tank once it has its inhabitants. I spent a lot of time cleaning it, the people I bought it from had let it sit for 4 years with 4 inches of water....

If I had a tank that size, I'd probably be looking for foureyed livebearers, but in the mean time, I'd probably end up throwing in my 3 giant goldfish and getting them too many friends.
