Those are impressive.

I don't think I would kill them though . I'm majoring in biology, they would fascinate me for a while. Then I would just put them outside. Considering they are not venomous or anything like that. A cat should take care of them no problem.

That is just how they got here in the first place.... My wife put them outside the house...

A cat should take care of them no problem.

My cats would and does, if they can get to them before my wife sees them.

Very same technique my wife employs, but they normally do not sit still for a cup to be put over it, and they normally end up in the garden and not in the Oscar tank...... My technique normally involves Doom insecticide spray..... a lot more effective and faster....

It would have to be one swat as they might take the paper from you!

As you may be able to tell I am not a big fan of spiders!

I used to have wolf spiders in my house. Some were as big as my hand

I'm terrified of them tbh, I don't mind tarantula's, I've held some and they are reasonably friendly spiders. But wolf spiders.. Nuh uh. No thankyou.
I think one bit me in my sleep, cos I was dizzy for about 2 days with a red mark on my ankle.

If anyone in my household were "saving" the spiders by putting them outside instead of swatting them... I think I would be swatting that person instead.

I would totally name one then apply the same name to every individual of the entire species. Spiders don't bother me at all. I have wolf spiders up here as well, they are fine as long as they don't surprise me. Wolfs also rarely ever bite. Most of the time when I see a spider in the house I am much too lazy to do anything about, especially if it is on the ceiling. And yes I know I am weird I was raising insects this summer what would you expect lol. BTW I think that last photo is a male spider. I highly doubt you ever cared to know that, but I'm going to tell you anyway

Those spiders look like they might be too big for an average cup.
