Thats some blood worm. I had to entice them out. If your refering to your future cyp fry then anything is gonna munch on them.
You need the algae for the look

squidward- its a gold head compressiceps (kasanga).
SM8- theres no trick, it just took a fair few months. Longer lighting periods may help. I dont think ill be taking any out though lol.

Must admit now I have seen the comps I definitely want some!! I would enter it in fotm competition if I was you, I think you stand a great chance of winning.

Put some rocks in a tray of water in full sun light and you will soon see some algae growth. My kribensis tank is near a window and it is growing like there's no tomorrow.
