And last but not least a WC sev given to us by the guy who caught it in a lake just off from the main RIO MIRIM in Peru. Unusual looking young fella

Cant tell from the angle of the first pic, but a geo of sorts (guess) LOVE the angels, and I want that severum, its like a belem with a yellow anal fin rather than redish, totally stunning!

Thats not a Retroculus lapidifer is it? In the top pic? (had to do some googleing to get the name I have to admit but I knew the fish I had in mind lol)

Nice finds!

Spot on Wills. Got them in a store in Dublin. Some unusual stuff coming in down there at the moment. The angels came from a guy down there that caught, raised and bred the parents. The sev was caught and was too small to id but he brought it home anyway to see how it turned out and sevs aren't his thing so he kindly gave it to us. Its now about 3"

The sev is absolutely beautiful Star. The pics don't do it justice. The angels are tiny but tip to tip 4" tall. The parents are stunning

Yeah the Sev is really nice!! I got a shock at my local MA today, full of interesting fish!! Some nice wet pet style puffers and for the first time in the city for at least 5 years a tank full of Nicaraguans!!

Wills

Its nice when you go into a store and find some unusual stuff in it. Feel a bit like a kid in a candy store :hyper:

When we got the Retroculus lapidifers the guy warned us they are jumpers, fair enough should'nt be a problem i thought tanks covered foolish me. Came back home this evening walked into the room where the tanks are, had no shoes on and stood on something looked down to see one of the buggers lying on the floor, it was dryish but i saw a flick from one of its gills popped it back into the tank and a few moments later its back sifting sand. If i hadnt of stood on it i would never have noticed it gone untill to late. Must of caught it just under my toes
