For my 20 gallon tank, I have 2 platys and 5 zebra danios. I want to add about 3 more fish. I'd like to have some cichlids, but not sure if they are too aggressive or not. So, if you have any ideas, please let me know.

I think you would be okay with some dwarfs in there something quite active though to keep up with the danio, so maybe go for some kind of apisto? Apsitograma Agassizi has a reputation to be zippy. Could go for a trio of them 1m 2f :)

i have kribs (pelvicachromis pulcher) in my community tank. they are rarely aggressive to other tank mates. only when breeding they can get a bit aggressive if a fish gets a bit too close to its cave. although, i have read that you can't keep corydorus catfish with them, and of course they will eat any shrimp.
if you get them it's best to buy a pair. i have also read that apistogramma are good community fish.

They all look like nice fish, but I don't think I've seen them at the LFS. Where did you all get those?

Kribs and Apistos are quite common fish really. Where abouts do you live maybe people can recommend stores or internet order sites?

Well I decided to go out and try to find some, but petco nor petsmart didn't have them. So I ended up getting two Gourami and two Lyretail Mollies.

What type of gourami? If its dwarf or honey you should be okay with that if not they might out grow your tank :)

Both were dwarf.

To be more accurate, they are Cremecicle Lyretail Mollies

cool sounds like a nice tank :)

A creamsicle lyretail molly is not a dwarf at all. Mine grow to well over 2 inches each, plus tails. This was one of my breeding females with some of her fry.

I didn't mean to make it sound like I was saying there were dwarfs, I were referring to the two Gourami.
