He's a discus, we call him Inferno, when you go over to the tank he rises to the surface fast then he sticks his fin right out of the water and you have to gently stoke him with you finger.

Yep he has plenty of character. Rierra the Siamese Fighter in the other tank has similar characteristics and love being stoked as well.

Thanks, he is Inferno's mate, they are always near each other and if any other fish comes near Inferno they get chased away by him.

Lol, yep, the Discus, Pearl Gourami and Siamese all like to be stroked. As soons as you put your hand in the tank to plant or remove things they come over and swim between your fingers!! They love to be stroked (gently).

The Siamese fighter is in the other tank..
