this little guy seems to be thriving, it has doubled in size, since it's been here, and has really colored up, in the last week... it was about the size of a tooth pick, when it came... really loves working those Pothos roots... I've had trouble with the large saddlebacks... makes me wonder if these guys also being biofilm eaters, also suffer from loss of digestive bacteria in shipping, like a lot of Oto's???
ordered 3, then they said they only had 2, by the time it shipped only one is stock... high contrast color, can easily see it in the tank, from across the room, even as tiny as it is... it went right to the algae covered rocks... suspect it was hungry...
@Back in the fold ... "little" seems like the wrong word for the pagodas... they may be little by human standards, but are huge by aquarium standards, like "life size" for the fish... all the fish seem to love them, even the Denison barbs go inside them... as they age, I'm hoping they look "real", like moss covered pagodas in the bamboo forest... they are actually heavy resin garden ornaments...
@WhistlingBadger ... they aren't in the garra family... they are listed as Gastromyzon sp
