Some Help Needede With Water Level

hi all im just in the process of setting up my first tank i have a juwel rekord 96 bought 2nd hand unfortunatly the water fill line that according to the online manual sould be vsible on the inside of the tank isnt there could someone tell me how far off the top of the glass with the hood off the water needs to be filled to? My local aquatics dealer said to fill it so i cant see the water line from the fromt once the lid is on?? im assuming the water level is quite precise for the heater and filter system to work correctly.

Your local lfs was spot on. Fill it so the water line cannot be seen but no more. If you are still in doubt maybe find somewher that sells them & go have a look inside one?

A little more water won't stop filter and heater from working correctly, just fill until you can not see the water line.
