Some Beautiful Tank Mates

Hi guys and gals, currently have a juwel rio 180 with nothing but a group of l134 Peckolita's.

What would anyone suggest to pop in there with them, open to any ideas really. Did fancy something larger I know the size is an issue but barring on paper more than not who have discus have them in so called "too small" tanks etc so am considering it as I do have relativly soft water and low PH already suitable for these.

Also considering angels although I know they can be a bit more aggressive both to their own species but everyone else seen as though they like to mingle on the bottom for food from time to time.

so any ideas or suggestions would be superb and greatly appreciated!

angels would be much better suited to that tank than disus , you want at leats 55g for discus really .or another beautiful fish to consoder is pearl gouramis , gorgeous fish once mature .

What about a Pearl Gourami and a trio of German Blue Ram(since your have soft water)?

Got pearls in my 4ft tank, but good choice haha!

Thinking is there any kind of american cichlid that wont cause too much of a bother in there. Looking at getting some long root wood and pretty tall plants to fill in the gaps as at the moment i have about 9 terracota caves and couple of pieces of bogwood with a couple of plants.
