i honestly have no idea what it could be, the water is perfect, nothing new to the tank, he is still eating so i'm not giving up on him yet

how old is he? i also experienced that to my red dragon HMPK which a showtype.. all i have to do is WC every two days and yummy live BBS and done!

he was in a 16gal ehich got water changes weekly (only ihabitants are 4 bettas and 8 kuhli loach) the 3 gal (now split) get a water change every 3rd day
