Sold As Male Dovii,can Anyone Confirm?

i dont know what a dovii is but that looks alot like a jaguar cichlid if ive ever seen one

Oh well,he was only 12.00 cdn and man is he ever viscous.He's in a 300 right now with a gar but i think im going to switch him to a 150 by himself.
 
not sure,ive had a tsn,2 bichirs,and a oscar and nothing can survive the gar(except the jag)
 
put a jardini arrowanna in there and see how long the gar is dominant

There are many fish that would get along with gars, but jags should really be kept alone or in a very large tank. If it were up to me, I'd put your jag in the 150 by itself. Although the 150 is rather large for just one fish, you could try to mix other "disposible" fish with it such as a large common pleco, schools of cheap tetras, etc. Maybe you can find some cheap fish that wont be killed...
As for the 300 with the gar, you could probably put any fish around the same size as the gar that isnt overly aggressive. If you tell me what type of gar and how large it is i can make some suggestions.
