Soft Water Fish

180ltr or 47 US gallons
Perfect for what you are planning. For stocking what were you thinking. I always like to keep things simple so just a few species, and larger schools of fish rather than just a few.

another thing is i dont know i want to full the whole tank with peat or just the one area with it

stock im not sure what im doing

i guess a carpet would look nice for fish i was just thinking about (shrimp gourami's or angels fish neon tetras or ember tetras snail and my one pleco) but i could also add corys

I like Black Phantom Tetras, Espei Rasboras, Chocolate Gouramis. and all sorts of others but they may give you something to think about

could they go with shrimp? since i have always wanted some shrimp but is there any other fish that might go well with my tank?

so what other fish i could go for since i like your taste (with fish selection)

There are guys like glowlight tetras ( Better than Neons ), Black Neon Tetras, cherry Barbs are always great. If you stay away from Cory's look at Whiptail catfish they are fantastic

what about kuhli loaches they are pretty cute but i dont know if they are good in soft water

A few things from previous posts.

First, you do not want peat under the sand/gravel. We need to pin down the GH and KH and pH of your source water before you can make any decisions on fish or related factors.

Flourite is not "soil," it is a so-called plant substrate. I had it in one tank some year5s back, for two years, but it was not what I was told it would be, plant-wise. I tore the tank down and tossed it out and went with play sand and the same plants did just as well. Some fish have issues with Flourite (and all similar money wasting products).

Once you have the parameters, you then need to decide what fish you want. The substrate needs to consider the needs of the fish; some especially substrate-level species have needs that must be met.
