now one of this crazy creatures in my tank, it is a slime mold for sure, starts twisting and pulsing like a ballet dancer.
So watch this short clip I have taken today and enjoy.

My partner says it's just mould :/ I don't know, it reminds me of Sea Fans when they've been dried out XD

Is this the same stuff? If so I'm sticking by my first answer from the close up shot that you posted (which appears to have disappeared now).
 
If it isn't, any chance of a close up shot of this stuff?

All the images are gone for me and only the last youtube video works but I am dying to see the original thing!
