yesterday i changed the substrate in my tank and did a big (75%) water change. When i was done I noticed bubles and figured it was fine becuase it wasnt bad when i was feeling up the tank, but now i relize that its probobly soap. One of my loaches is not doin to go but all others at this point seem fine, How do i go about getting in out do i need to do a 100$ water change and basicly strat over??
thanks

ohh and everyone in the tank was moved to my hospital tank

If it is indeed soap then yes, strip down the tank, clean the sides, sand, ornaments, everything and give the filter media a good rinse in non soap infected tank water.

Keep doing water changes and add some new black carbon to the filter.
Increase aeration in the tank.

ok right now i have taken everthing out of the tank the plants are all in a bucket fish are in hospital tank and they seem ok still. would it be wise to just get knew substrate as it is not really working to get the soap out?

Its up to you but you will have to steralise the gravel with boiling water.
Make sure the soap out of it.

ok i think i will just get new gravel to be sure bc that sounds like a royal pain but ill wait till my dad gets home and see... is there anything in perticular i should do with the tank, i have wet it and dried and repeted a few times with paper towels but im worried about the filter having soap in it that i cant get out...

Take the sponges out of the filter and rinse the filter under the tap, don't rinse the sponges in tap water only tank water.
Test your water later to see if the soap destroyed your benefical bacteria colony.
Also add some fresh black carbon to the filter.
Good luck.
