I would never use more than one med at a time, so not sure....

the reason for the melafix is that some fish have a supposed fin rot(might just be growth)

i cannot find any sources online that would help
they never get to the point...
could you try and help me find an answer?
thanks

I would stop the Melafix, fin rot is (usually) easy enough to take care of with clean water...

hello do i dump the remaining prazi from the mixture into the tank too?
or just the bloodworms
No, do not put the little bit of prazi-pro in the tank. Only feed the fish the treated food.

----------------------
If you post some pictures of the fish we can check them for fin rot.

Fin rot is caused by poor water quality that damages the tissue and allows harmful bacteria into the open wounds. Doing big (75%) daily water changes for a week, gravel cleaning the substrate, cleaning the filter, and adding some salt will normally fix the problem.

uh oh...
i did that...
well @Slaphppy7 i guess i will be treating for external too...
dont mind that beacuse it says it is not harmful or stressful

The problem with putting low doses of medications in the water is it can cause drug resistance in the disease organisms. In this case, a low dose of Praziquantel could encourage any tapeworm or gill flukes to develop a slight drug resistance to Praziquantel, and this means it might not work as well in the future.

It's unlikely to be a big deal now but try not to add chemicals to the tank unless you have to. And then use the recommended dose to try and prevent drug resistance occurring.
