That is soo nuts!!
I think it'd be funny to be his nieghbor...well, for the first christmasd anyways...if he had the music playing too......hahah..

heh heh, I almost posted a link to this last week. I think it's amazing and you MUST watch with sound (first couple of times I didn't). I almost wonder if it's a photoshop though, it's just too perfect.

ok......it's hideous - no doubt about that. But it's also awesome :hyper:
Thanks for the tip Wuv - I watched it without music the first time, and was *not* impressed.
It's fab though  (I just thank my lucky stars that house is in our neighbourhood, as I'm certain the whole area lights up !)

Just a bit of trivia :D

The chap who did it, is Carson Williams from Mason Ohio, who used 88 Light-O-Rama channels to control his 16,000 christmas lights.

And the music is by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra - to which the light show was set - the song is called "Wizards In Winter". The sound we can hear on the video was added in afterwards for clarity - it wouldn't have recorded that well in the open. But apparently does the whole show set to 40amp service.

I loved the music, wouldn't mind the cd.lol.

I think that is probably done on a disco light sequencer with some sort of relay set up to control the mains. With a good one of these you could have 20-30 different 'light per note' sequencers.

Doesn't happen to be 'Jean-Michel Jarres' house does it?

I had heard that the music was played over a radio station. Kinda like at the drive in movies.
