So Many Tanks

Man, how do you guys do it, those with multiple tanks. At one point I had 3 (4 if you count my bros tank) and it was a pain to keep them all in good shape. Today I'm going to be consolidating my tanks, and only keep one up and running (and my bros tank too). My 105 gallon. I'll put my ottos in my brothers tank, and move my betta to a 1 gallon bowl. I generally like to keep my tanks in perfect shape, but I can't seem to find the time, especially during the school year.


How do you guys do it?

well i can do all my water changes in a lil over an hour so thats not too bad and i jus kinda stick my hands in the tank when i can. Some times reserve some of my days off to do big things.

normally around for an hour or so after work atleast so its not that hard.

Meh, I just have nothing better to do lol, so I can clean my tanks, often twice a week.

Will soon be running a 120g (with sump), 90g, 20g, 15g, 8g, 3.5g, 3.5g, 2.5g and pond. Takes me about two hours a week but 4 hours on one day each month when I take all decor out to give them a good clean.

Multiple hoses & pumps for water changes along with large bore hoses for siphoning & draining. Bare bottom tanks are easier to maintain. Sponge filters take about a minute to clean.

Ha I dont know... I run a 29, 10, 5, and 1 and plus soccer, reffing socer. playing soccer, school,..my wonderfull teil, freinds, church...dances,, and comp time... I dont have time to THINK anymore

it's OK when everything's alright, we can do all the water changes in half a day so usually sat morning is reserved for that. Then just tinkering as and when we can. It's only a ball ache when something goes wrong, like we've just got our marine tank and we're having nitrate issues so we've been having to do daily water changes..... and SW water changes are much harder than FW one's so it's taken up every evening the last few weeks, so the house is just in a state and we've not got a lot else done thankfully things are sorting themselves out now and within a week or so we should be back to normal and we'll have time for other stuff.
