This is going to be a long one so thanks for reading and helping if you can :)

I'm converting my 60 gallon cichlid tank into a heavily planted dirt tank with some calmer fish.
Anyways I have a lots of questions about new types of plants, co2 and other things.

First off I'm doing a low tech high tech tank thing I want to try co2 and I will have good lights but I want lots of easer plants like Java fern/moss, Anubias, Amazon swords, dwarf sag grass and maybe some more depending on what I find.
My first question is what other plants would do good and help fill in? Because I really want to pack this thing full.

Cryptocorynes would be good I'd think. :)

Those seem cool thanks Nin :)

The two plants I've done best with are Green Cabomba, and Watesprite.  The Cabomba didn't fill out the way I wanted at first, but it's doing better now.  The watersprite... Oh. My. Gosh.  I have so much of it! It's definitely a great beginner plant.  I don't use CO2 at the moment, and the lights in my bigger tank are terrible.

I've always liked using jungle val to fill in the back of the tank.

Ok so my next question is I'm going to try my hand at some co2 and I'm looking at the diy type of system any suggestions or comments on it would be great.
