Im not planing it but I was just wondering how a rainbow snake head would do with cichlids, particularly Oscars and cons

Not well...rainbow snakehead (channa bleheri) are sub-tropical so need to have cool periods in the year.

And snakeheads (preferably dwarf) that go well with cichlids

Most of the dwarf species are sub-tropical so I doubt there is one that would work out. Their aggression would also be an issue, and I think most would recommend species only tanks for a reason.Might be worth posting in the predatory section though for people who have experience of them - I've not kept snakeheads or oscars so...

I think you would be better off with a bichir but obviously dependent on tank size. Have you decided what size you are getting now? There have been a few cheap ones come up in Central London recently. Don't mind PM'ing you the links if interested. One I was looking at was about 350 litres for £80. No stand and lid put me off but good project if you like (and are competent with ) DIY...

And Ive decided on a 4x2x2 but need it round march time and It would be nice if it has a stand and lighting unit.
I thought about a senegal, but the only thing that put me off was my oscar, when hes older he could nicely swallow a young senegal,
I have a senegal right now and hes about 6 inches, Ill probably go for another sen

Would a pictus cat go well with oscars and sens?
