snails

i've read lots of posts lately form people over run by snails

it just seems so unfair...one thing i'be never had is snails (except apple snails in my fry tank but they're my babies).

my figure 8 puffers just love snails but in all my community tanks i just don't get them.

so anyone fancy sending me some so that i can try and start my own little breeding colony, please feel free to pm me.

What I do to get snails is breed some of the "fancier" species like ramshorn and trapdoor snails and stuff and feed my fish with the young.

they just seem too cute to feed to my puffers

i just don't think i could bring myself to do it

now those pesky ones everyone wants to get rid of on the other hand

they'd be toast

lol u could have had a tank load from my 12g!!!! They went over the weekend... was like trying to get rid of cat fleas!!!!

my flowerhorns ate all of my apple snails....they were ok for awhile(2 months)...then start dissapearing...as soon as the first flowerhorn found out how good they taste.
