Hi everyone,

It's been a little while since i've posted on here, Great Forum though!!

As well as my big tank i also have a Roma 90 (20 Gal) community tank which is well astablished water stats are as follows:-

Ammonia = 0ppm
Nitrite = 0ppm
Nitrate = 10ppm
PH = 7.5

I've just recently added to the tank from my local LFS 6 x Glow Light Tetras

As you do I did my usual morning check this morning and to my suprise i noticed a small snail on the inside of the front glass which i can only guess must have come from the lfs in the same bag as the Tetras??

Is this normal/ok to be in the tank or should i remove it? the fish seem not bothered by it?

Any advice would be welcome

Thanks

Brayer.

Well, they dont harm your tank in anyway and i quite like having them (they help clean the glass) are are just another interesting critter in the tank!! But watch out, if you have two or more in there they will breed like CRAZY. its upto you really. i quite like em.

Thanks for your quick reply

I quite like them too :good: just like you stated they don't breed to much!!!

If that happened i wonder if i could remove them and use them as live food for my buddies in the main tank i'm sure the clown loaches and maybe the oscar would be glad to help? :hyper:

ROFL ,
when i had 2 adult snails. they had LOTS of babies. but they like all didnt survive though. i dont know why.
so did my 2 adult snails died. now i got 2 more (:

ooh umm. when i bought some fish once.
i noticed a baby snail in the bag. i put it in the tank ,
yeah. they dont do any harm. but if there's a few in there of that kind. they could breed.
but i dont think the other snails (the babies of the adult snails) breed like that.
