I have had my plants in the tank for over a week everyother day I find 2 new snails. I pick them out and put in my 5 gal betta tank that gets green algea. I'm going to give the snails to my friend that keeps puffers. Should I worry about the snails hurting plants?

The snails are brown small a little point at the end of the shell.

What do you guys do about snails? Or do you leave them?

sounds like pond snails.

i think they can do harm to plants if they dont get other food

they can reproduce quickly though so be careful

I'm just going to keep picking them out as I see them.

I have been putting snails in my betta tank when I find them. I just saw my betta eat a tiny one pretty cool.

You can crush the snails with a hammer or something and feed to your fish.
