Snail!

Hi could someone tell me what kind of snails these are? I just found them today while doing a change! Are they safe to keep in my tank or should I do something about them? Help!

Looks like malaysian trumpet snails. They're safe to keep in your tank, I love mine.

If you over feed then your tank will be full of them very very soon. But if you don't you'll easily control their numbers. But yes they do breed fast.

I don't feed mine. They eat algae and leftover food and I have always been able to control their numbers.

They look like MTS to me, as well...they are actually beneficial for your tank, totally harmless...but some people (including me) find them to be unsightly
