It started with one bladder snail that came with a plant I bought and that was okay but the number has increased and there are now 18 in my 7-gallon tank. I'm reducing feeding, but is there anything else I can do?

Reducing feeding is the main thing. You could take them out if you don't want any.

You could get an assassin snail? I don’t know a ton about them, but I’ve heard they’re pretty good at getting pest snails under control. With the reduced feeding, are you crushing the ones that you can get ahold of?

You could get an assassin or two. Or you can remove all the snails you can find and look for any eggs and remove them as well. This would be over the course of a month or two.

I've looked into assassin snails, but couldn't find any near me. I don't mind the snails but I would prefer to have just 4 or 5.

I'm not sure what the eggs look like, although I think that removing them is a great idea

A small clear lump of jelly, usually found on plant leaves.

Reducing feeding and/or remove any you see. Make sure not to flush the, or throw the, in a creek. Throw them in the trash.
