Snail Is Gone?

Hello again Where would a mystery snail go to I can find one on mine I can see the 2 plecos and the other snail but noooooooo clean snail.....one has algae on his shell and one does not Just wondering if there is anywhere else I should check. the tank hes in has an undergravel filter and a filter that I am cycling (side filter) Its only a ten gallon. YES I realize the plecos will need a larger tank and I am getting a 55 gallon
tank.

Othere then the plecos there is a fantail goldfish and 4 betta edithaes in with the snails.

The Goldfish is only in there because I am using his tank temporarily as my other 10 gal broke yesterday

Is there a gap in your hood? they can crawl right out

That particular tank has no hoood the water is 4 inches from the top and I have this guard so if the fish jump they land back in the water lol I saw him yesterday (put him in that tank when my 10 galll broke) hmmmm I will just clean the tank out the Betta Edithae wont like that but oh well .

may be in the filter, too. they can breath atmospheric air as well as oxygen in the water. i've had mine crawl right up on top of the filter. scared the heck out of me at first
