Snail behavior: What am I looking at here?

[Snailery]

What are my creek snails up to? That’s a stack of 5-6 snails. They’ve been at this for at least 30 minutes.

At this?. No, they're at that.

Loll,

This comportment in snails is mostly related to a lack of calcium in their diet.

It can also be a monthly mutual algae cleanup.
