Hi

I have an Elite 35 Fish Tank. With Stingray 10 Filter & 50W Heater. The tank has been used now for roughly 3 months.

I never thought i would get soo caught up in fish keeping that i would want to upgrade so quickly. I am looking for a 90l+.

I have seen one with filter heater and tank for £120

I cant wait to buy it.

But how much would you say to put my old one for sale and can you recommend anywhere and how much. I is in condition as new.. It also has two small ornaments.

Thanks

Darren

heck, dazza, you've been around a while now.. You could consider planning out the individual parts in a more custom way and not being limited by an all-in-one kit (not to say you might not find a great one, esp. in UK there seem to be good ones) You've got a running tank so it gives you more time if you wanted to study and plan filter more etc. .. just a thought.

I know i just fancy something more.

I have looked at an all in one but am algo going to run another internal filter along side. I have been planning and budgeting. I would have 2 filter rated to slightly larger rating than the tank. This means i will have nearly 3 times filtration i need. Also for the fish i want this is great. However the filter with the tAanK just helps boost it. I have put thought in to it lol i enjoy it sooooo much trhats all. My fish chill me out lots.

Any idea on the price for the old one then???

A typical price, at least here in the states, is about 1/2 to 1/3 of what you would pay for the same thing brand new at the store. As waterdrop suggested, if you are staying in the hobby you may well find a good use for the tank you already have. It gets very expensive selling off a small tank only to find a little later that you still need one that size.

you'd probably be able to sell the old tank for £15-£20 :good:

I would keep the small tank as a quarantine/hospital tank if I were you. You never know when you might need one.
