Has anyone got any ideas or information on turning a small 32 litre tank into a semi aquatic tank for growing plants out of water?
I don't know anything about this and heaven't read anything, but I was thinking of putting a layer of peat in the bottom covered in gravel,
some bog wood. I was going to put a power head drawing up water from the bottom and splashing the water creating a humid environment.
Small heater at the bottom horizontal in 3 inches of water.
Does this sound like the right kind of thing? What about plant species?
