Hey everyone.

After selling all my Bettas off I have decided to set my 6.5G(Box says 7G but I don't think it is) Tank up in my kitchen ^.^
It's had a Mega Clean out and is ready to start from scratch ^.^
Before I start maturein water etc I have been thinking what I could put in there.
Now a friend of mine has the same tank and he has 8 Neon Tetra and 5 Guppies and his tank looks full of life.
Now I want the tank to look "Lively" but not crowded.

Not really sure what to go with.
Even if it's just a pair of fish which I would kinda prefer anyway could then ya kinda learn there personaltys ^.^

Anyway if anyone could give me some advice on what I could keep I'd ve VERY Greatful!

If you could also include pics that would be even better!

This is the tank:

there's always male endlers, or some pygmy rasboras. small things. personally i think neons and guppies like more space than a 6g.

i have 4x 5-7g with a mix of bettas, shrimp, snails, endlers, otos and pygmy corys, thats spread over 4 tanks though.

LFS sells Endlers but not keen on them.

Is there nothing that could be kept in a pair thats small to medium size that would be ok in the tank?
I was told by LFS that a "Key hole convict" pair would be perfect but I didn't wanna go there unless I know they are.

not wanting to stock in mass just a nice pair of fish would be nice

All good ^^
Just been on phone to a not so local but AMAZEING! Fish store ^^ and there gonna show me and my partner all the fish that could go in a 5G tank thats just a single pair ^^

hopefully the amazing store wasn't the same one that gave you that advise, Keyholes and Convicts are two different fish for starters, and both would need a bare minimum of a 20G, ideally a 30G

At moment gonna wait and see what the owner of the store shows us, The Cichild on bottom pic is kinda cute.
never seen ne Dwarf Puffers >.<
Sayin that never seen the Shell Dwellers but maybe this store will have them

Yea but never see em >.<
I know LFS said two small convicts til they grow then they will need a bigger tank.
The Shell Dweller is nice tho.
Never seen a Dwarf Puffer tho 0.0 just read info on em and apprently 6G could hold 4 Dwarf Puffers.

I would say 2 puffers max for a 6gal. Possibly ony one.

Tbh I like the Cichild more then the Puffers >.< Puffers only look cute when puffed up but thats bad for em >.<
If I remeber right they only do that when in danger?

I have a 40G set-up in downstairs buildin that I was gonna set up but I decided I just want a small tank in kitchen to add a feature to the room seems popular now to have a Aquarium in kitchen, It will have all proper care but I really have given up with keeping large tanks was fun for ages but really just gone off the hobby which is why I want somthing small and nice.
