unfortunately you cannot have frogs in this. first of all...it is WAY too small...and secondly (and most importantly) the top is a tight fitting plastic lid with no ventilation - frogs need fresh oxygen to breath. you need a screen or ventilated lid.

I am assuming you are referring to african DWARF frogs....african CLAWED frogs, while tiny when babies, need a 10 gallon tank at least.
African Dwarf Frogs can be happy in a 5 gallon tank with a gentle filter, heated water approx 73-76*F.

i just wanted something small ish to keep something strange in lol i already have a 125l juwel tank just wanted a little bit of a feature on my chest of drawers oh and the lid dosnt come with the box

shrimp should be fine....frogs are way too messy - the size of that tank pretty much is impossible to filter....it would be a waterchange headache! lol....but yes, shrimps and maybe one snail should be fine in my opinion

That'd be fine for some small shrimps and small snails, but I don't see how you're going to heat it. You'd be best off getting a larger tank and heating it, or getting coldwater shrimp (of which there is far less chioce).

You'd need to make a tiny sponge filter or get one of those mini filters like the Elite Mini (which would take up a lot of space).

Why not get a slightly bigger tank? Clearseal do a 28 litre one that Pets At Home sell for about £20. It's really small and you could happily have a pair of frogs in there.

:good:
