Small Loaches

Hi, what are some loaches (besides kuhlis) that are like 2-3 inch sized? just curious, probably dreaming something i wont go through with, u know

Have a look at the Chain Loach....2.5 inches.

Zebra loaches and skunk loaches are also quite small. Skunk loaches can be mean, though.

I have 2 of these that I am taking out.
Very aggressive. Changed the whole dynamic of my community tank.
They did how ever eradicated the pest snail population in the tank.

Y. sidthimunki is really the only one that stays under 3 inches and has the botine loach shape. The others are all 4 inches or up (zebras, skunks, yoyos, etc.)\

Many of the hillstream loaches are in the 3-4 inch range but will require a specialized setup.

The kuhli family tend to be somewhat longer than 3 inches, but have a small bio load for their length.
