Small Fish Tank Help

So 2 weeks ago i went and bought 3 otos and 5 silvertip tetras for my 25L tank. Yep, huge mistake. The otos are brilliant (although one died on day 2) and are happy with some zucchini, but the tetras are viciously bullying each other. It's probably because the tank's too small, but a couple are getting constantly chased around the tank. I'm planning on returning them to the store this weekend and hoping they get a better home.

I want to replace them with a single fis, possibly a honey gourami. Any help please?

try a BETTA they would love that tank and are great fish to have on there own

I would love to but my LFS don't usually stock them... They do sound like great fosh for my tank though

I have a pretty strong filter. How would i tone it down for a betta?

A tank that size would be brill for a Betta

When I kept Bettas I used to add plants in front of the filter output which would lessen the current for the Betta.

When I had a betta, I got a spraybar for the filter. Problem solved

My LFS is pets at home and the last few times i've been they had no bettas, male or female. I think they had one once, ages ago, but if i can't get a betta what would be good?

You could get away with a few colouful tiger endlers and some red cherry shrimp?

the will be another LFS near you and worth tracking down as In mho pets @ home arent that great for aquatics,

a small group of apistogrammas would work well

LFS=P@H therefore no endlers My other LFS doesn't have them either

I'm keeping the otos as bottom feeders, so no worries there. I was considering a shoal of microrasboras but LFS stocking is cr not very good

no apistos near me, so that's sorted

Go for REALLY common fish. They might have them -.-

Bettas get quite big, i'd rather just have one male to be safe

Any updates on the honey gourami idea? I know LFS definately have them

Luzi a Honey G would be fine. I love them and I'm sure you will too. But they don't like a lot of flow either so you might want to look into the spray bar idea.
