Slugs Poisonous To Dogs?

Don't think so, but they can get worms and parasites from them, and some can be dangerous to humans... there's one that is excreted in faeces and causes blindness if someone comes into contact with it (ie irresponsible owner doesn't pick up their dogs' poop). Also, I can't imagine they taste very nice... I guess it depends on the species of slug, it's possible that there is a species that is poisonous...
 
If the slugs have consumed slug poison then yes they may be poisonous to the dog, I'm unsure as to whether there are any species that are naturally poisonous however.
 
theres a very nasy thing that dogs can get from slugs and thats lungworm and it can kill. google lungworm or have a look here lungworm

i live in the U.S. so i don't think he would get that...

What makes you say that?

The only 2 things that i know of that can be harmful to dogs caused by slugs is lungworms and slug pellets.
 
Oh no. Did your dog lick a slug? His mouth might get numb.
 
Considering he's likely to have a eaten at least a few without you seeing him do it, I wouldnt worry too much :)
