Last week I stopped using the melafix. Now both boys have white spots on them and Charlie looks like he coated with slime. I just want wipe him off, it's a good thing he won't let me. Anyway what can I give him. Sorry guys, no camera, and no computer skills to post picts. I will try to get Hubby to help.

If the fish have whitespot then they need to be treated with a whitespot medication. Melafix won't do that job. Get some Waterlife Protozin or Myxazin" and use that or any other whitespot treatment.

If the fish are in small containers you could always move them into a new tank/container each day with clean water. Then wash out the other container with soapy water and rinse out well. Then allow it to dry for a couple of days before re-using it.
Just keep moving the fish each day for a couple of weeks and eventually the whitespots will have fallen off and get washed down the drain leaving disease free fish.
